Where We Started
A timely response to COVID
The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic was the catalyst for fast-tracking development of the Cobalt platform.
To meet the increased need for mental health services for health professionals in the workplace, a collection of teams at Penn Medicine, in collaboration with UnitedHealth Group, created and implemented the first instance of Cobalt.
How It's Going
Health system collaboration
Cobalt has since expanded to other institutions, and our coalition of healthcare providers is growing. Penn Medicine, NYU Langone, and Dartmouth Health are key contributors, and we operate under a consortium model to continue developing the platform.
